SAMANTHA (SAMI) SALTZMAN (she/her/hers) is a theatrical director who is passionate about creating new worlds on stage. She worked with both the Broadway and 1st National tours of Matilda the Musicalfor over two years, serving as the Resident Director and training over forty cast members. Additional directing credits include the world premiere of LadyShip at The New York Musical Festival, The Drama League Gala Honoring Steve Martin, (featuring Carol Kane, Ed Helms, and Kermit the Frog) and the Bryant Park Skate-tacular Tree Lighting (narrated by Jane Krakowski and featuring performances by Johnny Weir, and Charlie White and Meryl Davis). Associate/Assistant credits include The Color Purple (2nd National Tour, based on John Doyle’s production), The King & I (2nd National Tour based on Bartlett Sher’s production), Lady in the Dark (NYCC), Southern Comfort (The Public), and Sarah Brightman’s Dreamchaser World Tour.
