Carlos Armesto is the Producing Artistic Director of Theatre C (theatrec.org), a company dedicated to creating hybrid theatrical experiences, through which he created such notable works as KINGDOM (Best Musical 2009–The Star Ledger), Jesse Zaritt’s BINDING at PS 122 (Outstanding Choreography, Solo Performance, Performance Art Piece - 2010 Innovative Theatre Awards), THE WHO’S TOMMY (Best Director of a Musical 2010 –The Star Ledger), DISORIENTED (Princess Grace Special Project Grant), SPRING AWAKENING, HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, ECHOES OF ETTA (Joe’s Pub –TimeOut NY Critics Pick).
